The Sonic Expressions/Alesis MEQ-230 Equalizer offers precision equalization capabilities for your system. Even the best loudspeaker designs need tuning once they are installed into automobiles. Surfaces such as the glass, plastic and leather found in automobiles cause distortion-causing reflections and cancellations. The MEQ-230 Equalizer allows you to “tune” your loudspeaker system, giving you the ability to minimize these non-regularities in your sound system. It also allows you to balance the left and right channels, due to it’s independent adjustments for each channel. Balancing the frequency curve in any sound system will help you achieve realistic Imaging and Staging capabilities. An MEQ-230 Equalizer is employed in our IASCA Championship (1st place, 2009 IASCA Western Regionals, Expert Class)1996 Mustang Cobra Demo Vehicle. |
