The Sonic Expressions SE-6CX Loudspeaker System features SE-Quality drivers at an entry-level price point. The mid-bass/mid-range driver features a treated paper cone that responds quickly to the audio signal for excellent transient reproduction while minimizing cone-deflection. The surround on this driver (like all of our other mid-range/mid-bass drivers) is constructed from a compliant butyl rubber compound. The coaxially-mounted 25mm soft-domed tweeter features an integral crossover. This natural sounding tweeter is mounted directly to the pole piece of the mid, and can be “swiveled”, to allow improved imaging, when not-so ideal mounting locations must be used.
